I should mention that I did buy an antenna amplifier to use with it though. I could have spent a lot more but I doubt I would have gotten a better antenna than this one. I put it on the attic and it picks up my digital channels well. The antenna seems sturdy and came almost completely assembled. The literature included gives me the impression that this is a good company with solid technological knowledge.
Quality reception of digital tv signal in San Francisco.Due to the high directivity of the new digital tv frequency it is necessary to find a precise position for the antenna.Mounting ingenuity will be required.I mounted my antenna on a lamp stand with a long coax cable and walked around the room pointing at the tower until I found the best position and angle.
I seriously cannot believe how bad the instructions are that come with it. Not only does this thing LOOK different than in the instruction page, but they don't specify ANYTHING and apparently half the parts you get don't even go on it.I'm so frustrated with this thing, and I'm a technician. These guys seriously need some youtube tutorials
Put antenna in the attic. Reception for me is superb. I live approximately 15 miles from most transmitters in my area. For me, this product worked very well.
Fantastic product. Hooked it up to an old cable co-ax and mounted the antenna on the roof of my house. Picked up 30+ channels and the locals were in CRYSTAL CLEAR HD. I actually think the HD clarity is better with the antenna than it was through my satellite provider.I would certainly recommend this product.
